Eula Faye Sparks, 86, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born July 6, 1930 to Joe and Elcey Barnett McCoy. She was retired from Prentiss County Schools. She married James K. Sparks on April 23, 1949. She was a 45 year member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed growing African Violets, roses and yard flowers.

A celebration of life service will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Siloam United Methodist Church with Bro. Rod Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Siloam...

Eula Faye Sparks, 86, passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, at Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born July 6, 1930 to Joe and Elcey Barnett McCoy. She was retired from Prentiss County Schools. She married James K. Sparks on April 23, 1949. She was a 45 year member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed growing African Violets, roses and yard flowers.

A celebration of life service will be at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Siloam United Methodist Church with Bro. Rod Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter, Gayle Hall and her husband Paul of Baldwyn; two sons, Kenny Sparks and his wife Cynthia and Michael Sparks, both of New Site; three sisters-in-law, Oneida McCoy, Mary Von Kirk and Janie Massey and her husband, George; 12 grandchildren, Greg Hall, Jeff Roberts, Missy Haney, Brandi Green, Gina Parker, Chris Sparks, Jessica Mullens, Nathen Sparks, Jamie Sparks, Brianna Harris, Kassie Sparks and Austin Sparks; 14 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Sparks in 1997; two daughters, Kaye Shook and Regenia Sparks; one son, Jim Sparks; and two brothers, Charles McCoy and Joe McCoy.

Pallbearers are Greg Hall, Jeff Roberts, Chris Sparks, Nathan Sparks, Jamie Sparks, Cody Hall and Hunter Hall.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Siloam Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 21, Marietta, MS 38856.

Visitation will Saturday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and from 2:00 P.M. until service time Sunday at the church.
