Ennica Gerlene Morgan Hopkins, 87, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 24, 2016, at the Longwood Community Living Center in Booneville. She was born July 12, 1929, to Jay Scott and Birdie Fay Downs Morgan. She was a charter member of Tuscumbia Baptist Church serving as a longtime Sunday school teacher and faithful worker in the church. She was a homemaker whose hobbies included cooking for her family and friends, fishing, and tending to her flowers and pets.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 26, 2016, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Parman officiating and Roy Gray delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in Tuscumbia Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, J.C. Hopkins; one sister, Jane (Bob) Henson of Biloxi; one brother, Johnny (Brenda) Morgan of Baldwyn; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Morgan Kendrick and Martha Sanders Hopkins; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bobby Morgan; three sisters-in-law, Marie Hopkins Lewis (James), Moise Hopkins Crabb (Clyne) and Ilene Hopkins Campbell (Pat); one brother-in-law, Clyde Hopkins.

Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
